Alpine Eagle: Sentinel and airborne counter-drone systems
Alpine Eagle supplies Sentinel counter-drone technology and works with DeltaQuad on platform integration. Its March 2026 release separates existing relationships from a planned production facility.
Alpine Eagle is a German counter-drone technology company built around Sentinel, an offering combining software, sensing and airborne platforms. Its commercial approach relies partly on integrating its technology with other manufacturers’ equipment. The named DeltaQuad and Origin Robotics relationships are therefore central to understanding the company, rather than incidental partnership announcements.
The business is young: its company history dates its founding in Munich to 2023. High-Tech Gründerfonds reported Alpine Eagle’s €10.25 million seed round on 6 March 2025. IQ Capital led the round, with HTGF, Expeditions Fund and Sentris Capital participating alongside previous investors General Catalyst and HCVC. The release linked the funding with Sentinel development, recruitment and international expansion.
This gives a dated financing reference and identifies an investor group. It does not provide current ownership percentages or establish that any single investor controls the company. The funding should also remain separate from customer orders.
For commercial readers, the round explains how the company intended to resource its next stage. A product business must finance engineering and industrial work before all of that activity becomes customer revenue. The subsequent partner and facility announcements can be read as developments within that growth effort, without assuming that the capital has already produced a particular sales result.
The investor release also names the Bundeswehr as a customer. That corroborates the existence of the company’s public customer account from an investor publisher, but it is still not a buyer-issued disclosure of complete contractual scope.
A founder describes a product-led approach
In a 10 September 2025 interview published by IQ Capital, Boelens described building products to the company’s own development roadmap and adapting them for tenders, rather than allowing each procurement to define an entirely new product. He also emphasised international expansion early in the business’s life.
Those are the founder’s statements of strategy. Their commercial relevance is the intended balance between a repeatable product and customer-specific work. A company seeking to serve several national markets needs to decide how much of its product can remain common across contracts.
That balance has practical consequences for suppliers and partners. A stable product family can make manufacturing and support more repeatable. Extensive changes for individual customers can introduce additional integration and acceptance work. The interview helps explain Alpine Eagle’s intended approach, while later contract and product records are needed to assess how consistently it is achieved.

DeltaQuad supplies a named platform relationship
Alpine Eagle’s 19 March 2026 industrial update describes integration with the Evo aircraft from Dutch manufacturer DeltaQuad. DeltaQuad’s own public site identifies Evo as its platform family serving professional users.
The relationship is commercially specific. Alpine Eagle contributes technology within Sentinel, while DeltaQuad supplies an aircraft platform. It illustrates a way to expand through an existing industrial product instead of developing every underlying airframe internally.
For a potential customer, the important issue is how the resulting package is supported. Aircraft maintenance, software changes and customer acceptance can involve different organisations. The public announcement identifies the partnership but does not publish every support obligation or configuration agreement.
For other suppliers, the relationship shows that a young system company may create demand through an established platform partner. A component opportunity may sit with the aircraft manufacturer or with the system integrator, depending on the part of the offering concerned. Keeping that distinction clear avoids treating the complete customer package as the output of one company alone.
Customer references and planned production
The March update says Alpine Eagle had secured three additional European customers after its Bundeswehr launch relationship. It also describes participation in a Dutch defence innovation programme and trials involving allied users. The reviewed release does not name every customer or disclose each contract value.
The same announcement sets out a planned production facility near Munich. That is a future industrial resource, rather than evidence of a completed output level. The release’s staffing figures are dated company statements and should not be treated as a current employee census.
The distinction is familiar at a much larger scale in Anduril’s planned Long Beach campus. A facility announcement can explain intended industrial growth while commissioning and actual production remain separate milestones.
For Alpine Eagle, useful follow-up would connect a completed facility or expanded production arrangement with a named customer delivery. That would make the industrial story more concrete than either a floor-area figure or an anonymous statement of demand on its own.
Origin Robotics broadens the partner network
On 16 June 2026, Alpine Eagle and Latvia’s Origin Robotics announced a memorandum of understanding. The companies described intended integration of Origin’s BLAZE product with Sentinel and a possible route toward local manufacturing in Germany.
The published initial work concerned integration, demonstrations and validation. The memorandum therefore establishes a defined industrial relationship and development direction. It does not establish a completed German factory, an exclusive ownership relationship or a disclosed government production award.
Commercially, the agreement expands the set of equipment that may sit within the Sentinel offering. It also increases the importance of clear product responsibility. A buyer needs to know which company supplies and supports each part and how the overall configuration is maintained.
This is a different model from an acquisition: the release describes two companies coordinating complementary products. Their cooperation can broaden a customer offer while leaving the companies and their other relationships separate.
The business position to follow
Alpine Eagle’s distinguishing feature is a specialised system strategy built around its own software and sensing, combined with named external platforms and product partners. Its public history connects that strategy with seed financing, early customer accounts and planned industrial expansion.
The most useful company research will continue to follow those strands together. New customer disclosures can clarify demand; partner updates can clarify the product package; completed industrial milestones can clarify delivery resources. Each adds information that the others cannot provide.
